had my socio midterm.. got my test back from nutrition (can't believe the machine rejected my scantron.. haha).. worried bout my papers & presentations cuz i have not even started

happy birthday, bridgett, vince, jerrome..

mom's in a better mood.. thnk the Lord.. played ball, cleaned, cooked, & prayed all by 6:15.. new record! here's a lil exerpt from Highlights:

One day, the professor put a large sheet of white paper on the wall. The paper had a little black dot in one corner. The professor asked, "Boys, what do you see?" We all shouted: "A black dot!" The professor stepped back and said, "So, not a single one of you saw the white paper. You only saw the black dot. This is the awful thing about human nature. People never see the goodness of things and the broader the picture. Don't go through life with that attitude."

I, too, fall victim to such quick conclusions.. sometimes i just miss the big picture, which explains all the miscommunications i have had with many of my close friends.. isn't it amazing how a kid's magazine can teach an "adult" (<-- gosh, i'm an adult now =P) the many values of life.. and yet, society still does not learn..
